Sitting room sleeps three. Private parking on property. Central heating in the winter months. Large private terrace with beautiful views overlooking Gulf, This contains shaded eating area plus kioski with insitu seating and table. Beautiful quiet neighbourhood. Only 5 mins from central village square. Large sitting/kitchen area, bedroom contains kingsize bed and large wardrobe. Ensuite bathroom, plus separate toilet in entrance hall. Sitting room contains sofa bed for sleeping two, plus couch for one. Modern kitchen area looking on to terrace and and garden. Central heating in the winter, very cool in the summer. Ideal for family with two or three children. Private parking on the property, concrete road to the parking area above the house. We are on the north edge of the village which has only paths within it. The house is situated on the north side of the village, not far from the famous monastery of Agios Lavrendios. This traditional mountain village , situated at 600m ASL, is cool in the summer ant yet relatively close to hot sunny days on the beaches of the Pelion Peninsula. The village is full of unexpected vistas as you wind through the pedestrian cobbled paths with only an occasional mule, goat or sheep to avoid. The Music Festival here in August is very popular. Most houses have no close-by parking, however, ours is an exception to this.(see photograph) There are delightful walks both in and around the village and pony trekking is now a highlight for visitors. Guided tours which visit the old traditional houses are laid on in the summer. There is a regular bus service to Volos through the week with connections to other places in the area. Taxis are also available. Sea trips can be made to adjacent islands of Skopolos and Skiathos from the port of Volos.
