Loughton is a lovely old village that has been incorporated into MK. We have lots of old charm as well as amazing facilities on the doorstep. My apartment occupies part of the ground floor of my house, it has its own door. It is large, beautifully finished and well equipped. There are many restaurants, pubs and sports facilities within a few minutes walk. I am on hand to help if you need it. You have your own entrance door and alarm system. Fast fibre wifi to the house. My home is good for women, men, couples, business travellers, and families. I'd love to welcome you to MK. Safe, quiet location in village setting yet easy walking distance to facilities. Central position, walking to station, take aways and restaurants, parkland. Well equipped kitchen, induction hob. Considerate guests are welcome to share my garden. Continental, help yourself breakfast available on request. Apartment is cleaned weekly if you are staying for more than a week at your convenience. Clean bedding and towels are also provided weekly. Thanks Gill" - Lucy September 2019 The bedroom has 2x3' wide single beds that zip and link to form a super king so you can youse your room layout. There is also a roll away bed (with legs), a third person can be accommodated. In the sitting room there is a day bed, providing a comfortable sleeping space for a 4th person. The kitchen has a double oven, induction hob, large fridge, dishwasher and washer dryer. It is well equipped with crockery, cutlery, glasses and cooking dishes and pans. There is a back door to the garden. Breakfast supplies will be available in your fridge if requested. You will have your own living space, considerate guests are very welcome to share the garden. There is furniture provided outside too. I've lived in Milton Keynes for nearly 40 years and I love it! I'm happy to help with directions, attractions and share my knowledge of MK with you. I'm also happy to share a glass of wine or cup of coffee, but I am also happy to leave you to fend for yourself too. I moved to Loughton over 40 years ago, and have lived in this house for 27 years. It is a lovely village with lots of history including a couple of pubs that were originally staging posts on the Watling Street. There are shops and a variety of restaurants within easy walking distance. Lovely walks to beautiful lakes close by. MK has just about every attraction including a theatre, a real snow ski slope, Bletchley Park, Gullivers Land and all the shops you could wish for. At the front of the property a large drive provides off road parking. Considerate guests may share my garden. I'm very willing to help whenever I can - but am happy to give you privacy too. Have a look at the guide book I have compiled on this site to see just a selection of the things you can do and see in MK. It takes about 12 minutes to walk to Milton Keynes Central Station fast trains to London Euston take just 35 minutes, Birmingham I hour 8minutes and Manchester 1hr 38mins. The X5 national express coach links Oxford, MK and Cambridge. The no 25 bus goes past the house and other bus services are a short walk away. MK is well served with taxis - and reasonably priced. I have a large paved driveway and additional hard standing providing ample parking. Please park on the stones in front of the apartment to allow me room to get my car in and out :-)
