Guesthouse on private island near Amsterdam

In the neighborhood of Schiphol Airport ( 15 minutes by car or 20 minutes by bus Arriva Q Liner 365 to AirPort ), Amsterdam ( 25 minutes by car ) and the Keukenhof ( 20 minutes by car ). Great for a couple's getaway! Located on a private island, this brand-new guesthouse offers privacy, comfort, and nature. We offer a unique experience on an island in the Green Heart of The Netherlands within 25 minutes from Amsterdam and within 15 minutes from the Amsterdam Airport. May 2020 is a special week with the Dutch Grand Prix. We can help you finding a smart route to Zandvoort. Please note: the private island is only accessible by a private boat/little ferry. So every time you want to leave (or enter) the island you have to take the boat. It is very easy, and if needed we can help you! You can use your private rowing boat. Guests access the house via a private ferry across a small canal. Luggage and bicycles can also be included on the ferry. Guests are welcome to bring their own boats but we also have a small boat available for going back and forth across the small canal. We live in a nearby houseboat and will greet guests personally on arrival. Due to the Cotonavirus all restaurants and bars are closed. We live on an island that is accessible via a small ferry. On the other side of the canal is farmland and a nearby village (Leimuiden). In Leimuiden there is a grocery store, drugstore, several restaurants, and a gas station. Within 10 kilometers is the beautiful flower park Keukenhof, and several beautiful beaches are within a 30-minute drive. Guests can reach the island via car, bike, or boat. In Leimuiden is a bus stop where you can pick up a bus to Amsterdam Airport (20 minutes). At the airport you can change to another bus or the train to Amsterdam City Center. There is no kitchen in the guesthouse. Only a minibar; see photo. We provide you a small breakfast for the first day.
