Pedaller's Rest

Welcome to Pedaller's Rest, a comfortable spot to recharge in Millhouse Green on the edge of the Peak District. Situated half a mile from the Trans Pennine Trail, 2 miles from Penistone town centre, and 7 miles from Holmfirth ("Last of the Summer Wine" country), we are the ideal base for exploring the beautiful countryside. We are also conveniently located for the M1 (6 miles) and just 4 miles away from the A628 Woodhead Pass to Manchester. Outside: Private and self-contained annexe building, plentiful street parking, secure bike storage (on request), keysafe for flexible self check-in. Inside: You will find an open plan living area and kitchenette, with a separate wet room (suitable for disabled access). Facilities: Comfortable double bed and sofa bed- allowing for a cosy group of 4! Amenities include: TV and DVD player combi, Fridge, Toaster, Induction hob, Microwave, Kettle, Iron and board, Hairdryer, Wet room with toiletries and towels. Due to the size of Pedaller's Rest we allow small/medium, well trained dogs. We request that you keep animals off the furniture at all times. You are welcome to use the fenced garden with your dog but please clean up after your pet and use the outside bin on the driveway. Please message at the time of booking to inform us if you are travelling with children or animals to check we can meet your needs. There is plenty of street parking available nearby. If you require a space on the driveway for any reason we can try to accommodate this, but ask at the time of booking. We are also able to offer bike storage if requested in advance. Your are more than welcome to use our garden. We live on site but Pedlar's Rest is totally private and self-contained. Your key will be left in the keysafe so you can come and go as you please. Millhouse Green is a small village on the edge of the Peak District National Park. We are served by a village shop and within walking distance of two country pubs. Penistone is our nearest town, home to a selection of restaurants, a supermarket and a handy cycle shop.
