Small but perfectly formed, The Studio @ The Old Vicarage is a brand new restoration, ideal for one/two guests, located within the grounds of The Old Vicarage. It is very private hidden behind huge granite walls in a very sunny corner with access to the garden. Open the door on the other side and you can see the sea and for those who know the Cornish seas, the colour changes every day. A granite building with castellated front wall, was built by the miners c (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) and has been lovingly restored from the roof down. It is now a contemporary retreat full of character features and offers: -a brand new shower room with double size shower. -a brand new kitchen area with oven, hob, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher, all with stone tile floor. -brand new living/sleeping area, featuring restored Oak beams in a double height ceiling give light and space -a full size double bed, so no compromise on sleep. During the day this folds up neatly into the wall, leaving a relatively spacious stone tiled living area with small sofa and table with chairs which are light enough to take outside on those lovely Cornish summer days. -toasty warm oil-fired central heating for those not so warm days. The garden has now largely recovered from the building site days and has a newly planted wildflower garden to attract the bees and other insects. Depending on the season, there will once more be lines of daffodils, banks of bluebells or blossom in the newly planted mini orchard. Ideal for walkers on the South West path or Eane’s Carn (moor) just beyond The Old Vicarage gates or for those many guests who just want a base from which to explore Boat Cove, Portheras beach, Lands End, St Michael’s Mount, St Just, St Ives and Hayle (home to Northern Europe’s most beautiful beaches), to name just a few. We look forward to welcoming you. Guests have access to the Little Field garden and the area immediately outside the studio with an integrated double seat/drinks table. We are always available if guests have any questions but also like to give them the space to enjoy their holiday.
