Beautiful, luxury lodge at Mercia Marina, with parking for two cars. Both bedrooms have an en suite bathroom and a walk in wardrobe. The kitchen is fully equipped and the lounge/ dining area is spacious, light and opens out onto a large veranda where there is outdoor furniture for al fresco dining. Mercia Marina has excellent facilities, including cafes, restaurants, bars and shops. Willington village has some excellent pubs, an Indian restaurant, a fish and chip shop and a Coop store for all provisions. Should you wish to leave the total relaxation of life at the marina, there is easy access to the Peak District, Alton Towers, as well as National Trust properties at Kedleston Hall and Calke Abbey. There are two lovely coffee shops/cafes for light meals. There are excellent walks around the marina site or further afield in beautiful countryside. There is a train station at Willington giving access to Derby and Birmingham 30 minutes away.
