If you've never been to Mersea Island, you're in for a treat! Tranquil, unspoilt & beautiful. Enjoy it all from the luxurious comfort of this brand new, sea front holiday home. With a huge wrap around deck, you'll be able to enjoy a drink and while the day away watching the tide come in and out. Coopers Beach is a premium site that has lots of facilities but is also very peaceful. The beach is just 30 seconds from the accommodation. Ours is a brand new (July 2021), top spec, sea front, premium 3 bedroom mini lodge with wrap around deck and patio. Beautifully appointed with lots of extras. Large main bedroom with full sized double bed and tv, large wardrobe, dressing table and ensuite toilet. 2 twin rooms. Master bathroom with large shower enclosure. Dining area with seating for 6. Lounge area with large 3 seater sofa, 2 seater sofa, large smart tv, games, books and toys and most importantly, double doors leading out to a huge deck with the sea and beach immediately in front of you. If you've never visited Mersea Island before (no ferry required), you're in for a treat! We hadn't heard of it before but after one visit we just knew we'd want to come back time and time again - which is why we bought our holiday home there! With it's own microclimate, beautiful scenery and unspoilt charm it's a truly lovely place for a holiday. Mersea has a very Cornish feel. Coopers Beach is easily the nicest caravan park we've ever stayed on. There's the indoor pool - but also an outdoor heated pool too. They have a great park for kids, bar, restaurant, amusements - and evening entertainment too. So lots of facilities - but at the same time it's an unhurried, quiet & peaceful place. We've been lucky enough to secure one of the nicest locations on the site - right on the seafront, close enough (but not too close) to the pool and entertainment. And if you're in to watersports, kayaking, jetskiing, paddleboarding etc then this place couldn't be better as there is a slip a 60 second walk from our accommodation! PLEASE NOTE: Park passes are not included in your stay but are reasonably priced and are available to purchase from reception upon your arrival. The Outdoor pool is open from the start of May to the start of September. The Indoor Pool is closed from mid November to March. In off-peak months (February, October, November & December) there will be more limited opening of the restaurant and bar. Beds are made up in advance of your arrival - towels are not included. PLEASE NOTE: Due to a change in park rules, we have had to remove the hot tub from our property from 14/2/2022. Beds will be made upon arrival for you.
