Call of the Wild

My house is hidden in a wild garden, 1 minute walk from the banks of the river.A place of retreat. Half an old house. The downstairs flat is self-contained with its own entrance and access to the garden. A large comfortable kitchen and bathroom. Central heating and also coal and wood stoves. Room for 2-4 people. 1 double bedroom + 1 sofa bed in the sitting room. Occasionally upstairs flat available (see second listing Call of the Wild 2) - 4-6 guests It's a beautiful old house with charm. (Mostly I rent out half of the house downstairs because it has the better kitchen and bathroom with double bedroom and sofa bed in the living room. Central heating as well as coal-wood-burning stove. The garden is a wild one. The house is ideal for nature lovers. You can go on foot or by bike along the Oder and also a lake is not far from where you can go swimming and the river a few steps away with all its wildlife. This half of the house is completely self-contained and for you alone with porch, kitchen, bathroom with bath, sitting room and double bedroom. You are free to use any part of the garden that is large enough for privacy and peace. I am in the other half of the house with my own entrance and am usually available to give help or tips for outings in the area. There is a selection of leaflets and maps in the house. The landscape is breathtaking, the river, wild, and there are a large variety of birds . One enters a timeless world here. The garden is also peaceful and secluded. Shopping is possible in the village or at the Polish market (20 minutes walk away). Otherwise in Bad Freienwalde which is 7 kilometres away by bike, there are a number of supermarkets also in Oderberg, 6 kilometres by bike. Guests are very welcome to use the bikes to get around. It is only 1 h 30 min by car from Berlin. You can also take the train to Bad Freienwalde and either take a taxi or a bicycle for another 6 km. With the Poland bus from Berlin Allee of Cosmonauts to Hohenwutzen Poland Market...(70 minutes) 5 Euro three times daily. Peace! Timelessness. Nature.
