Converted Chapel in Rural, Peaceful Lincolnshire

With unspoilt views over countryside, our former Chapel offers a perfect place to enjoy a memorable stay, whilst visiting all that this County has to offer, a Castle, a Cathedral, National Trust, RAF Conningsby and so much more. Spend snug winter evenings in front of the Log Burner, or warm summer evenings relaxing on the Patio observing the wildlife . There's also a myriad of tracks and paths around for walkers and cyclists alike. We offer comfort, something different, homely, and quirky. The bedroom is on a mezzanine or intermediate floor, it is partly open to the double-height ceilinged floor below, original ceiling beams have been incorporated in the conversion, and also the delightful Chapel windows. There is a Velux roof light within the bedroom complete with blackout blind, but you will find the stars are amazing on clear nights whilst you gaze up to the sky, you might want the blind open! We have less light polution than the cities! The fully fitted bathroom provides both shower and small bath. Underfloor heating is included for the winter months, although once the Log Burner is lit, the property becomes very toasty indeed! The kitchen is well equipped, providing everything required for those wishing to dine at base. We like to provide enough comfort and ease of use so you will feel at home, and hopefully visit us again. We have fitted a double USB double charging point upstairs and downstairs, providing plug free charging for all. Please note that we provide freshly laundered protectors on all pillows, duvet and the matress for each and every guest. The property stands in its own grounds, and is private for your entire stay. We have fitted a gate and floodlight over the drive for late arrivals. Before you arrive I will be in touch with access details so that your arrival is as smooth and safe as possible. We want you to know that we’re doing our part to help our Airbnb guests stay safe by deep cleaning and thoroughly disinfecting frequently touched surfaces (light switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles, remotes, etc.) before you check in. We also block out nights before check-ins, allowing us additional deep cleaning time. Thank you Margaret We have always run the Chapel with a keysafe operation, without any contact on arrival. This became invaluable when the pandemic started, and suits our guests perfectly. However, I will make contact with you when you book, and stay in contact with you as required until you arrive at the property at the start of your holiday. You will have total space whist you are there, but I am always on the end of the phone if you need anything. I rarely hear from anyone until they leave, which is always comforting, it means everything is as it should be! Just so that you know, we provide freshly laundered protectors for pillows, duvet and mattress for each and every client. The Chapel sits within a very small friendly village which is a short drive to coastal and local amenities such as swimming, shooting, sports, eating, shopping and much more, more details can be found inside the property. There is plenty of walking or cycling locally, or visit the coast. Take the car, or there is a super bus network operating from Spilsby Town. If however you are cyclists the area is much loved and used by fellow enthusiasts on a daily basis, the immediate road outside sees cyclists passing daily. We have fitted a chain Anchor to the exterior wall allowing cyclists to secure their cycles when not in use. The insulation installed to the property walls during conversion has reduced the signal strengths of some mobile networks, wifi has been installed to assist, so phone calls are no longer an issue, and you can keep in touch with loved ones if you want, or simply switch off and hideaway.
