Cottage in character village

Character cottage situated in the centre of the village. There is a delightful cafe serving delicious breakfasts, light lunches and afternoon tea plus a local pub, village shop and farm shop all within walking distance. The main line station, just a 6 min walk away takes you to London, Canterbury and Ashford. A short drive will take you to NT properties Sissinghurst and Scotney Castle. I’m resident at the property and as your host will be available during your stay A double bedroom and private bathroom (not en-suite) will be available for guests to use. You will find a dressing gown , hair dryer, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, tea and coffee making facilities plus biscuits in the bedroom. Other areas of the house may not be accessible. Please note there is no television in the room so suggest guests bring laptop or iPad. Guests only have access to the bedroom, bathroom and downstairs cloakroom. I will always try to be on the premises to greet guests. I will be available on my mobile should it be necessary to contact me. There are two pubs in the village plus two Indian restaurants, a coffee shop plus a village store with post office. The main line station is a 6 min walk. There is a main line station a 6 min walk from the premises. Trains run to Canterbury, Dover, Ramsgate, Ashford and London. Please note that this is a non smoking, non vaping establishment and that includes the outside areas. Pets are not allowed and it is not suitable for children under the age of 12.
