Charming Annex in heart of Hampshire countryside

Our cosy annex has been lovingly decorated with my favourite furniture and accessories. Centred around a wood burning stove, the annex is an open studio space with living, dining and sleeping areas within. It has a shower room, and separate toilet. This is the perfect country getaway for a couple or family...we are completely secluded and surrounded by stunning countryside. Nearby market town Petersfield is just 7 minutes drive, and 'the Hangers' is just 10 minutes walk from our door. Our place is very peaceful and quiet, accessed by a long gravel drive behind big wooden gates. The annex is accessed by a staircase as it is on the first floor of a barn style building. The annex is separate from the main house so the guests have total privacy. Guests are able to access part of the gardens outside, with a lovely decking area to sit out in. We are very lucky to have some amazing local pubs within walking distance, like the Queens Head in Sheet, the Harrow and the Cricketers in Steep. Steep Marsh is a small village with just a handful of residents. The best way to get around is by car, walking or cycling. Nearby town Petersfield is 7 mintues drive, and you are able to get a direct train to Waterloo in just over an hour. The main A3 road is less than a minute from our gates. There are many walking and cycling routes around the nearby Hangers (nicknamed 'Little Switzerland' for its' beautiful scenery!) We welcome up to two dogs here at the annex, for a fee of £25 per stay. We have a dog of our own (Mabel) who is a very friendly Viszla. Please note we do have livestock here- horses and chickens. Our chickens are free range during the day over the whole property, and the horses will be out in our field, so please keep your dog on a lead if it is likely to upset either of them.
