Welcome to our beautiful grade 2 listed Georgian home. This is the birth place of the artist Sir William Nicholson. We are happy to show visitors around our lovely historic house. Your room is a comfortable double with private facilities, you can use the lounge and garden. We have off street parking with room for your car or larger vehicles if you are staying for business. We are very popular with the visiting Antique Traders to the Newark Fairs and shops. There is plenty to explore locally. This is a historic house, but also a lovely family home full of beautiful antique furniture and interesting detail. (The B and B business is already well established and has been awarded 4 stars by Visit England). We can be flexible and negotiate the price for longer stays. We love to show guests around and are happy to let you explore the house, gardens and 9 room cellar! You have a private double room and shower room, also the exclusive use of the upstairs lounge where breakfast can be provided if required for an extra amount. We are happy to interact with guests as much as they want, equally we are happy to leave guests to themselves. There is an extended family here and we all come and go! We have plenty of local maps and information, if you are here to explore the area. We will do all we can to make your stay happy and comfortable. This is a wonderful calm house in a quiet area, but only minutes away from the town centre. There are lots of restaurants and charming pubs within easy walking distance of the house. The town is well served by both trains and buses. An extensive, home cooked breakfast is available for an extra charge. The menu is available on arrival, if you have particular dietary needs, please notify us in advance. We have two friendly dogs, but can easily keep them away if you aren't a dog person. We are a dog friendly establishment.
