Family suite/ two adjoining rooms (one double room, one twin room, additional travel cot also available) in farmhouse bed and breakfast set in the peaceful Normandy countryside. La Thiaumerie is a charming 18th century stone farmhouse surrounded by orchards and farmland. Jane and Shaun run the farmhouse and every morning you will be treated to a complimentary continental breakfast made form local French delicacies! The farmhouse is in the middle of the French countryside, so you can expect peace and quiet and only be awoken by the morning sun shining through your window! The large garden is full of lovely places to sit and enjoy the exceptional views of the Normandy countryside. The guest lounge has a beamed ceiling and exposed stone walls, along with a large stone fireplace with wood burning stove. The bedrooms all have their own private bathroom which have modern facilities and good quality fittings. Mont Saint Michel, the D-Day landing beaches and Bayeaux are all within a 50 minute drive. Jane and Shaun live in a separate part of the property, they will always be available if you have any questions or would like to chat! Shaun has a great interest in the history and heritage of Normandy so can offer you a historical conversation. Jane and Shaun know the area very well so can offer recommendations of restaurants and places to go and explore.
