Jasmine Cottage is an extraordinarily picturesque holiday cottage in the pretty village of Welford-on-Avon. Nestling on the banks of the River Avon and just 8km to Stratford-upon-Avon, Jasmine Cottage is an ideal place for a staycation or week long getaway. The village of Welford-on-Avon is famous for the many 17th century thatched cottages which are immaculately looked after, and the 13th century church in the centre of the village. Look out for Tenpenny Cottage which is supposedly one of the most photographed thatched cottages in England, which can often be found gracing the covers of calendars or postcards. The name refers to the quarterly rent charged for tenants. Jasmine Cottage is hidden away in a quiet road around the corer from the church. The cottage sleeps up to four guests, has off street parking, a pretty rear garden and stunning views over the Warwickshire countryside. The River Avon is just 10 minutes walk from the cottage.
