Mount Meru Tree House

Our Mount Meru Tree House lies beautifully in a large private garden with an incredible view of Mount Meru, the "little sister" of Kilimanjaro. The Tree House has 1 bedroom with a small kitchenette with fridge, toaster, kettle, an en-suite bathroom and a terrace. We are sharing our small swimming pool and BBQ area with you. Enjoy your very special place in a treehouse with an African sunset and spectacular views of Mount Meru. At the same time you can get around easily with local transport or, rent one of our small motorbikes (according to availability). We share the garden, swimming pool and BBQ area. Most of the time, a family member is on the property, but on check-in we will also give you our contact so you can reach us any time. The treehouse is located in the small village of Ngongongare on the edge of Arusha National Park. Our direct neighbors are private Tanzanian families. Local transport (minibus taxis - dala dalas OR motorbike taxis - piki pikis) is available nearby, but you can also rent one of our small motorbikes on a daily basis or, for longer (according to availability). We do have 2 dogs: Chico is a male (castrated) ridgeback & Babsy is an 8-month old (spayed) female mix whom we have adopted from Mbwa wa Africa (dog rescue centre around the corner from us). They are both very friendly and love having visitors!
