Drive 16 mins. to Browns Beach on Saratoga Lake or 5 mins. to the Zim Smith bike/running/walking trail & the Empire State Bike Trail. Driving distance to ski resorts. Non-Smoking guesthouse has private entrance & off-street parking. Unique Amenities: kayaks/life vests, grill & firepit are available to use. This lovely second floor riverfront home has one large bedroom with a king size bed & a sofa futon. Beautiful views and 20 mins. away from the Track & downtown Saratoga. Guesthouse has a sunroom & deck overlooking the water with beautiful views of the Morning sunrise. This is a wonderful place to relax & regenerate. Very inspirational for creative people & a sanctuary of sorts for those who love the outdoors & water. A lot of windows with nice light throughout the house. The deck & outside area present a truly stunning view of the surrounding nature & river. A paradise for bird watchers. Use of kayaks, firepit & BBQ grill is solely at the operator's own risk (May 1st - Nov 1st). The community offers restaurants, pharmacies & hair salon (which are a very easy walk to get to). Pool is not for use. We truly enjoy selecting refreshments & toiletries for those who stay in our special sanctuary & we hope you enjoy our goodies! After all, it's the little things that can add up on holiday & we like to provide these at no additional cost to you! We are driving distance to many ski resorts like West Mountain, Willard Mt, Windham Mt, Hunter Mt, Whiteface Mt, & Gore MT. There is also snow shoeing at Saratoga Springs National Park, rentals are only $5.00 per person for less than four hours or $10 for full day (recent quote, pricing may vary). You will have access to the entire Riverview Guest House called Lucky's Airbnb. quiet neighborhood We are only 20 minutes away from Saratoga and 23 minutes from Albany. You will need a car however. Easy to get a Uber or Lyft ride. Meal delivery services are available, such as GrubHub, DoorDash, and Mealeo. Albany International Airport is approximately 18 miles away. $100.00 cleaning fee. Mechanicville is a very small city, but has much to offer. We are very close to Saratoga Springs which is home to the race course, Saratoga Racino, SPAC, Schenectady Rivers Casino, The Times Union Center, Troy Music Hall & many local colleges. Kayaks and gas grill are only available from May 1st through Nov 1st( weather permitting) , due to local weather conditions. Check yourself in with the lockbox.
