The Retreat is located in the heart of Blagaj, a medieval town on the cold river Buna and seeks travelers searching for rest, spirituality, and relaxation. The upper sleeping area can accommodate 4-5 people, there is one bedroom for two on the first flat, and a lot of space in the living room where the sofa is. Beautifully decorated in traditional style, the house has all modern features. But, there are so many sunny days that you, for sure, won't stay inside. Next to the house, there is a swimming pool, protected from views. The outdoor dining area & portable fireplace (if you are sitting outside in the evening - especially next to the river, light a fire) are located on the right side. In front, there is a seating area "Safa's deck", where you can order tea, juice, or coffee and talk about the spiritual past and present of Blagaj and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Accommodation in the modern house (access with a car), courtyard and grassland next to the river Buna for sports and chilling just for you (stairs), and traditional old house for meditation and prayer room that are shared area, just as a cave, area for a grill, outdoor toilet, etc. Parking for the car just next to the house, the area is completely safe. I work as a tour guide so you can feel free to ask anything that you are interested in :) If I am not there to welcome you in person, because of the work, some family member will wait for you and explain everything in detail. Blagaj is a beautiful medieval city located 13km from Mostar, which is the tourist center of the Herzegovina region. (It is the perfect combination to stay in Blagaj and visit Mostar center and other destinations around daily.) The retreat is located on the Buna riverside, with plenty of space for sports, recreation, yoga, meditation, relaxation. There is a rock climbing center 10min walking distance and hiking areas. Historical and religious monuments combined with enchanting nature are what make Blagaj a perfect place for vacation. It is perfect for families, but also for business travelers who seek relaxation at the end of the busy day. Due to Covid19 situation, we decided to open our home for specific kind of hosting, where we offer complete peace and isolation for our guests, but at the same time great location near pharmacy and market that is opened all day, as well as an the option of grocery and food delivery. Our home can accommodate up to 6 people and has all amenities that you might need. It is perfect for families or couples. You can work from home, while your children relax next to the river enjoying the fresh air.
