Regular buses into nearby towns of Holmfirth and Huddersfield. I have some house rules that are important to me so I would be grateful if you could consider these carefully before booking. Mostly based on previous experiences when problems arose. No outdoor shoes worn around house, please bring (indoor) slippers or you may borrow from me if you let me know in advance. No alcohol or pork permitted in the property (Religious restrictions, sorry) (Website hidden by Airbnb) have had some issues with guests being a bit inebriated and crashing about the house, causing damage. My home is not suitable for guests who want a boozy night out, sorry. No additional guests/visitors unless agreed by host beforehand. No food or beverages to be stored or consumed anywhere except GROUND FLOOR (previous incidents resulted in stains to carpets and furnishings) Water can be consumed in bedrooms as long as stored in sealable container (e.g. water bottle) Free water bottles are provided (in fridge, help yourself). Make up application to be done in bathroom please. Again this has not always been adhered to and Has led to stubborn make up stains on rugs and upholstery. Cost of any damages or stains to carpets as a result of guests activities, to be covered by the guest/s. Lights to be switched off when not in room please. General basic consideration to noise levels late at night appreciated. Hopefully if these rules are observed a mutually pleasant booking can be enjoyed by all parties:) If you need an earlier check in then this is a possibility if you let me know in advance. I can sometimes collect guests from the local train station so do let me know how you will be arriving in case I can assist you. Many thanks!
