Ogden Nash's poem 'Paradise for Sale' was based on this delightful house which is full of character and charm, having been thoughtfully restored to a very high standard. Kiddles House offers very generous accommodation with a large, well-equipped kitchen and breakfast room; a spacious family television and games room; an open-plan sitting room with wood burning stove and dining area; a utility room and cloakroom and a boot room. On the first floor are four bedrooms, including a master suite with dressing area and en-suite shower room; a second double with an en-suite bathroom; and two twin bedrooms which share a well-appointed family bathroom with separate shower enclosure. Outside is a large and attractive garden with lawns, flower beds and a small pond. Garden furniture is provided along with a barbecue terrace with picnic bench. This wonderful holiday home is located in the popular village of Piddletrenthide which has two pubs and a village shop. There are numerous walks in all directions, making it a great base for walking holidays, and the location is perfect for exploring the county of Dorset and the Jurassic Coast which is only a short drive away. The county town of Dorchester is only a 10 minute drive away, and within a 20 minute drive are the popular market towns of Sherborne and Blandford. There is a feature open fire place in the dining area.
