Ocean views from the 2 front bedrooms and a garden view from the back bedroom. Free street parking is available. Keyless entry is provided for your convenience. WIFI connectivity, Printer (for convenient printing of boarding passes), Netflix, tea, coffee with brand new Nespresso machine. Towels and linens provided. For more urgent matters, our lovely housekeeper Liz is on call to help. Cobh is a beautiful, quaint coastal town in Southern Ireland. Most famous for being the last port of call for the infamous Titanic, Cobh is steeped in history. Down the street from the property, you'll find historic St. Coleman's Cathedral overlooking the Cork harbour. During the summer months, Cobh is frequented by cruise liners and is a bustling community. It has a great range of shops, restaurants and museums. Of particular note is the Cobh Heritage Museum which explores the Titanic and Cobh being the embarkation port for Ireland's mass migration around the world. In the center of town you'll find the tourist center where you can organize tours of the town, and to the many tourist attractions nearby such as Blarney Castle, Fota Island Wildlife Park and the Ring of Kerry. There's a train in to the main city of Cork, for those that don't want to drive, where you can visit the famous University and shop till you drop with world class shopping among many other things. You can easily walk everywhere in town. There's also a train station about an 8 minute walk away, and a regular bus service.
