With own washbasin and mirror, shower and toilet next door. With a lovely view over the green fields. Very private. Including all coffee and tea in guest kitchen. Shops and restaurant at 1 kom drive. Cities of Leeuwarden and Sneek 15 min. drive only. Dear traveller in our beautiful Friesland, the far north of Holland! My name is Sjirk, and I live in a big new farmhouse. I have a few other rooms in different shapes and sizesn. In the shared kitchen and livingroom for guests only, there's a microwave, oven, dishwasher, pots, dishes and cuttlery. Coffee, latte, espresso, cappuccino, hot chocolate and several kinds of tea, quickly made, available for free. Food and other drinks you can buy only 5 minutes drive to the nearby shop and there's a nice lunch café too with a terrace. I look forward to meeting you in the peace and quiet of my farm house. The guests have their own front door to use, and fully equiped guest kitchen and own living room with tables, couch and large tv. I live in the private backside of my large house. If you don’t see me, you are welcome to text or call me when you have any questions. Otherwise, just ring my doorbell. You can be fully independent. Bike use is possible I'll be around and off course I like to help you with how to get where and what is worthwhile to see and do. You will look over the green fields and there are cycle and tracking paths, as well as lovely little roads that lead to many little typical Fries villages and the many lakes. Rural and very quiet. Lovely walking area, green land for miles on end and not far drive to the North Sea, the IJsselmeer and the Afsluitdijk. To the lovely cities of Leeuwarden, Sneek, Franeker and Harlingen, with their charming houses, channels and history, it’s about 15 minutes drive away. At the SNEEKERMEER you can rent boats. Plus there will be loads of other activities in that area. With own car, there’s free parking. From trainstation Leeuwarden or Sneek: get the train to the little village Mantgum. From there it is a 10 minute taxi ride, or ask for possibility and costs pick up and drop off beforehand by Sjirk. Allways lock the front door with your own key when you leave again. But till then it's the key you use to enter the guesthouse. The common rules apply. And when you leave please tidy up and clean all the things you have used in the kitchen and living room to earn a good review.. and a big smile off course.. :)
