Villa Avlida-sea, green and sun!- 60km from Athens

Welcome to our beautiful countryhouse, located in the area of Avlida, only 1 hour drive from Athens (60 kms). Our house is a seaside one, belongs to a twin building complex, just a breath away from the beach (3 minutes on foot). We love it because of the location and the very short distance from our second house in Athens. We use it for the weekends and the summer time. Our house has all comforts for anytime of the year, like central heating and fire places, airconditioning in every room, as well as a big BBQ. Very closeby there is a super market, a bakery, a cafe and grocery(7 mins on foot). A second beach is located within 15 minutes on foot distance, where a cafe-bar-bistro-restaurant is also located. The main village is 3 km away,so you can go there on foot to eat at one of the numerous restaurants/taverns there or to drink a beer or coffee by the sea. You can prepare your meals in our fully equipped kitchen or in BBQ and enjoy it on the big marble table under the stars. The one of the two main-twin houses can be rent out. Both houses have the same type rooms and amenities. The price indicated is to rent one of the two twin houses and you will have access to the full house (downstairs & upstairs area of the house). The garden/yard area will be shared in case there are other visitors too. We are always there to help out with infos and tips for our guests and to explain to them how to enter the house and how everything works! :)) The host offers COOKING WORKSHOPS for guests who would love to learn the secrets of the Greek cuisine! ;) The menu and the price can be discussed with the host, depending on the guests' needs. Also, welcome drinks upon arrival and breakfast for the first day is offered to all our guests. The area is a residential area and very quiet. Most of our neighbours use their houses the whole year and a few of them use their house as a holiday house. A few families with children live in the area as well. Very closeby to the house there is a super market, a bakery, a cafe and grocery(7 mins on foot). The main beach is literally 3 minutes on foot from the house. A second beach is located within 15 minutes on foot distance, where a cafe-bar-bistro-restaurant is also located. The house has its own private parking area, which can be used by our guests. We strongly recommend to our guests to have/rent a car to explore the surrounding area -because this house is very close to Athens, 60 km. - or to visit the ancient theater of Delfi, the ancient monastry of St.Loukas, many more nice beaches and mountains on the opposite island Evia (which is connected with the mainland with a bridge, making it very accessible) with famous fish and meat restaurants or even to go to another island, Skyros. You can even have a nice one-day cruise to three islands close to Athens(Egina,Poros and Hydra). Or you can of course relax at a pretty quite house with sunbeds in the yard listening the waves and seagulls, which is our personal all-time favourite option! :))) We are vry flexible and also willing to rent both houses to the same guest, as we have seen that in the past a few of our guests preferred to visit both Avlida (for enjoying the sea and the sun and to relax) but also Athens (to visit museums, the Acropolis and to see the nightlife too, or even just for one night when their flight to Athens was late and they preferred to sleep the night in Athens and go the next day to Avlida).
