Super clean Basement Apartment with full kitchen, Queen size bed, and Full size Futon couch. Private: entrance, bathroom, & kitchen. Conveniently located: 0.8 miles from closest bus stop, 2.6 miles from Wheaton Metro Station, and 11 miles from Washington, D.C.--this apartment has everything that you need!! Quiet neighborhood, free parking, and sidewalks to take a walk or exercise. We are licensed in our county for AirBnB and we are proud to be Superhosts! We look forward to hosting you! We ALWAYS clean and disinfect everything including countertops, doorknobs, cabinet handles, remote controls, light switches, and laundry! (This has always been how we clean!). This means we have been following the Airbnb COVID-19 cleaning protocols before AirBnb had even created the guidelines for hosts! This apartment can accommodate up to 4 people with a total of 2 beds: 1 queen bed and 1 full futon. It is a studio apartment = 1 large room. Featuring: Keyless Entry! (We also have keyed entry for those who have religious restrictions). Please keep the door locked whenever you are home, as well as when you are gone!! Please understand this is a home, not a hotel, so you will not have maid service. Please treat the space as you would want any guest to treat your own home. You have access to the full kitchen for LIGHT cooking. In order to be mindful of all of our guests, please do NOT cook anything with strong smells including: bacon, fish, curry, strong spices, etc. We have plenty of electrical outlets all over the apartment, so you can easily plug in your devices. If you are coming for work, we have a workstation ready for you (when you’re not relaxing on the couch)! Cats live in the main portion of the home with US, but NEVER have access to the guest unit. With a HVAC charcoal air filter, and frequent cleaning, even the most allergic person can comfortably stay in this space! We do NOT allow any animals/pets on our property, including Service Animals or Emotional Support Animals, as it would be a huge health & safety issue for our cats! (Because this is a home-share we are exempt from accepting guests' SA/ESAs. A home-share Airbnb: we live upstairs and the Airbnb (private) space is downstairs.) NO Exceptions! Sneaking ANY animal in will be grounds for immediate cancellation with no refund. Each additional guest costs extra. Please make sure to book for the appropriate number of people! If you bring additional guests that you did NOT declare while booking, there is a $20 fee per extra guest, per night for ALL the nights of your reservation. (Your fee is less if you book in advance!) Free high speed WIFI! There is a 55” TV for your entertainment and includes: Roku, Hulu, Netflix, AppleTV+, Amazon Prime, and any other FREE options! Although we make every effort to accommodate our guests, your specific needs should be brought our attention PRIOR to booking! Thank you! We are not set up to accommodate children at this time. We live upstairs so you may hear some noise. To reiterate: We ALWAYS clean and disinfect everything including countertops, doorknobs, cabinet handles, remote controls, light switches, and laundry! (This has always been how we clean!) Make it a great stay! You get the whole apartment!! This is a private space for you! Short of being a "helicopter host," we are usually available for questions, or concerns, most of the time during daylight business hours, and anytime for emergencies: we live upstairs! If you cant find it, or work it, please ask. If you have any kind of emergency that is not related to how to "find something" or "work something," and you need medical attention immediately, please call 911. The address is posted on the entry door, on the refrigerator, next to the coffeemaker, and in the bathroom. There is a Fire Extinguisher and a First Aid Kit visibly stored in the unit. Please message us at any time with any questions or concerns and we will get back to you as soon as possible! Although we make every effort to include plenty of supplies (like toilet paper), please message us if you run out! Some of you may be coming to the area for business, conferences, weddings, birthday parties, graduations, sporting events, concerts, religious holidays, or family events. We are within walking distance of multiple synagogues, and within a short drive (or Uber or Lyft ride) to churches, Mosques, or other religious points of interest. The closest bus stop is 1.2 miles away. We want to be sure you have the best stay possible. Although we make every effort to accommodate our guests, your specific needs should be brought our attention PRIOR to booking! Thank you! Guests over 6' 3" may not be suitable for this space since it is a basement apartment and the ceiling is slightly lower in a few places.
