Coquetdale Cottage in Rothbury

Newly refurbished and launching in August 2020, Coquetdale Cottage is ideal for couples (and its pet friendly!). Located in the centre of the popular Village of Rothbury along a short pedestrian walkway the Cottage is tucked in a quiet spot behind the main street of the Village. A brilliant location to enjoy the pubs, cafes and shops of the Village and an excellent base from which to discover Northumberland. The Cottage is fabulously equipped, has one king size bedroom upstairs with a beautiful stand alone roll top bath and loads of natural light. There is also a full en suite with WC and separate shower cubicle. Downstairs you have the wonderfully stylish living space with modern Kitchen area, a log burner and sofa bed. One well behaved dog is welcome to stay at the Cottage. There is free on street parking for the Cottage on Rothbury High Street and the Cottage is accessed via a key safe. Always on hand if you have any questions or need any assistance I'm just a text, message or phone call away. I prefer to let my guests enjoy their break in peace while knowing I am on hand at all times if required. Rothbury is known locally as the Capital of Coquetdale and offers an excellent range of shops, with many art galleries, tea rooms, cafes and pubs. It makes a very convenient base for fishing and for walking into the Northumberland National Park and Simonside, as well as offering less strenuous riverside walks. Rothbury lies near the centre of rural Northumberland, 12 miles from Alnwick, 15 miles from Morpeth, 15 miles from the coast and 29 miles from Newcastle upon Tyne. As such it makes the perfect base from which to explore all that Northumberland has to offer. There is a smart TV in the living room where you can access your Netflix or Amazon Prime subscriptions. Terrestrial TV can be accessed by the iPlayer, itv player and all 4 apps. Coquetdale Cottage is ideal for short breaks. It should be noted that there is not a washing machine/dryer in the Cottage. We can point you in the direction of a launderette if you require longer stays.
