North Lodge

We have two comfortable guest rooms. Set in a semi rural location with stunning country walks on the door step. Pubs and restaurants located within a mile. There are several pubs in the area that have re opened and serving food. Booking a table is recommended. We are pleased to be welcoming guests again and committed to the extra precautions needed against Covid 19. Bedroom 1 has 2 single beds. Toilet is in the main bathroom which is used for our guests only. Bedroom 2 has a double bed with shower and sink. Tea and coffee making facilities. Toilet is in the main bathroom which is used for our guests only. Shared access to kitchen and garden. We are a friendly couple and will welcome you in our beautiful cottage. We like our guests to feel at home. It's a lovely place to be. We have a wonderful garden and views across the countryside. It's homely, clean and comfortable. Light breakfast is laid out for guests to help themselves. Eastbourne is 20 mins by car, Brighton 40 mins and Hailsham is only 10 mins. Bus runs hourly from the village. Nearest train station is Polegate which is 15 mins. The village is a friendly place with a number of lovely country pubs and walks in the surrounding area to choose from. The village is a 20 minute walk from the cottage where there are several places to eat. The Brewers Arms country pub, Eastern Promise Indian Restaurant, The sundial French, European restaurant and fish and chips take away. Booking is advisable. Local attractions - Herstmonceux Castle and Observatory, Ashburnham place, Battle Abbey, Beachy head, The Seven sisters, Drusillas park, Eastbourne Pier, knockhatch Adventure Park, Michelham Priory, Bateman's, Hastings. We are happy to let out one room only and no other guests will be booked.
