Capelo Houses - Typical Azorean

Casa da Tia Garcia and the House of Edwardian cottages are of basaltic rock with over 100 years of existence. Once served as housing and atafona (animal stable) to a family of Capelo's parish. Generation to generation have been passed until in 2000 due to its high state of degradation were reconstructed to become Rural Tourism Bed and Breakfast. Casa da Tia Garcia has capacity for 4-5 people and consists of two floors, housing on the ground floor a living room, a bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom and the second floor with a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom, a living room and even the kitchen. The Edwardian house also consists of two floors with capacity for 4-5 people. On the ground floor is the living room, a bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom, the second floor consists of a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom and kitchen. Both houses are equipped with washing machine, TV Cabo, parking, crockery and other kitchen utensils, towels for bathroom, linen and bedding. Outside of both houses there are covered areas with barbecue to enjoy in warmer weather.
