This comfortable holiday home is situated in front of a fascinating forest and mountainous backdrop in the western Weser Uplands near the southern foothills of Teutoburger Forest. You can view Köterberg from here, which is a famous tourist destination with excellent viewpoints, ideal for motorists. It is on the mountains at an altitude of 496 metres in the western Weser Uplands. A network of marked hiking trails begins from right behind this house. While hiking, you can observe the white storks that breed here. In addition to the natural attractions in this water and foliage-rich, forested, mountainous landscape, this is also one of the richest cultural landscapes of Germany. The region around this home is attractive with German Fairy Tale Routes, the Weser Renaissance Route, the World Heritage Monastery and the Castle of Corvey, the Fürstenberg Porcelain Factory, the Westphalian Open-Air Museum in Detmold – the largest open air museum of Germany, the Externsteine, the Hermann’s Monument and many other attractions. Lügde is a town, which is famous for its ancient tradition of Easter Wheels. There are numerous health resorts in the neighbourhood that are alluring with several attractions. Some of the attractions are the city pool of Pyrmont next to its famous palm garden of Hufeland Spa, a zoo and a castle with unusual attractions such as fume caves and sink holes.
