It is on the mountains at an altitude of 496 metres in the western Weser Uplands. A network of marked hiking trails begins from right behind this house. While hiking, you can observe the white storks that breed here. In addition to the natural attractions in this water and foliage-rich, forested, mountainous landscape, this is also one of the richest cultural landscapes of Germany. The region around this home is attractive with German Fairy Tale Routes, the Weser Renaissance Route, the World Heritage Monastery and the Castle of Corvey, the Fürstenberg Porcelain Factory, the Westphalian Open-Air Museum in Detmold – the largest open air museum of Germany, the Externsteine, the Hermann’s Monument and many other attractions.
