Their welcome is kind and courteous, and they are antiques collectors, as reflected in the excellent decor of their 1800s fully restored Castle (small chateau). Dominique, prominent member of the Tourist Office of Blere, can guide you towards the many famous points of interest not to be missed and other secret places. Unforgettable flight over the chateau in vintage aircraft and hot air balloon flights can easily be organized. There are several balloon companies in the area. Gourmet restaurants line the center square of Blere, a two minute walk from Le Belvedere, your home away from home. Wine tasting is a major part of life in the Loire, with the Chinon, Vouvray, Montlouis, Sancerre, and more regions surrounding Blere.Goat cheeses are famous and gorgeous in this area.
