Two floor house literally on the sea, with garden and private parking. A beach just right in front of the garden. Comfortable and relaxing house ideally for families (but not only), for long time vacancies and even just weekends, throughout all the year. Situated near the city of Eretria (an important ancient Greek polis in the 6th/5th century BC), is 100klm from the centre of Athens and approx. 1h & 10min by car. The housekeeper (Mrs. Adriana) and myself we are always at your disposal for any assistance you may require or any question you may have Evia, the second largest island of Greece and the third in the eastern Mediterranean, is located close to the Prefecture of Attica. However, it has a somewhat mainland character, since two bridges - the modern, suspended one and the older, sliding one - link it to mainland Greece, called "Sterea Ellada”. Evia has wonderful beaches, a pleasant climate, renowned monuments, many thermal sources and tasty food and is. The island extends over a surface of 3,580 km2, its coastline is 48 km long and it has 220,000 inhabitants. The ancient cities of Evia established important colonies in the Mediterranean sea (Chalkidiki, Asia Minor, Southern Italy), while Eretria was one of the most powerful cities during the Classic period. During the Byzantine era, Evia was very prosperous and formed part of the Department of Greece. Central Evia is home to wonderful mountain ranges and numerous walks you can take. The scenery is dominating above the beautiful costal shoreline. Walking to the peaks of Dirfis and Xerovouni, you will admire the views of many other mountains such as Olympus, but also get 360 views of the Evian gulf and the Aegean Sea.
