Beautiful two bedroom cottage
A beautifully warm and comfortable home with open-plan living/kitchen area with underfloor heating. It overlooks a pretty garden and has one parking space. Tucked away in the centre of the village with coffee shop, restaurant and pubs nearby. Stable Cottage was renovated in December 2015 to the highest standards. The Cottage is both comfortable and warm with 2 twin bedrooms and 2 bath/shower rooms. Downstairs there is open-plan living/kitchen area with underfloor heating. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, cooker and hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. TV and Wifi are included. Guests are able to access a spacious patio which overlooks our garden. You will have access to the whole cottage. There is on site parking for 1 car. The cottage is self-catering although we provide coffee, tea and milk. Other provisions can be bought in the village. We live on the same property and will be available to greet and help with any questions about places to visit and where to eat locally. The Cottage is hidden away in the heart of Shrivenham village, with three pubs, two restaurants, coffee shop, deli and shops all within a short walk. Shrivenham is situated in the Vale of the White House in South Oxfordshire which is in an area of outstanding beauty. Our cottage is ideally based for visiting many places of historical interest, including the university city of Oxford. For the more active there are many walks, to suit all tastes and the area is excellent for cycling. If you are interested in water sports the nationally renown Cotswold Water Park is twenty minutes away. There are also two taxi companies that operate in the village. There is a national railway station in Swindon. There are regular trains to and from London, taking approximately one hour.
