Beautiful Georgian Townhouse B&B

An authentic B&B experience in the heart of the Historic Market Town of Wokingham. This beautiful Georgian townhouse with garden is guaranteed to give you a relaxing stay. Each bedroom is decorated in a traditional style in keeping with the house. The rooms are within a family home and garden. Each bedroom has private access from 2 separate landings. The twin bedroom has an ensuite toilet and shower, and the other two bedrooms have their own ensuite toilet and will share a shower on the same floor. The host, Margaret, will warmly welcome you and be on hand if any assistance is required. Guests will need to ring the doorbell for entry into the house. The house is located in the Historic Market Town of Wokingham in the middle of the conservation area. Wokingham is a bustling town with a plentiful choice of restaurants and cafes within walking distance of the house. The B&B is well-placed for leisure and gives you access to many of our English heritage sites OR as an overnight business stay. It is brilliantly placed for public transport or car and has good access to the M4, M3, M40 and M25. TRAIN Wokingham train station is a 5 minute walk away with frequent direct trains to London, Reading, Windsor, Oxford and Gatwick Airport. AIRPORT There is a direct airport bus to Heathrow Airport from Reading train station and a direct train service to Gatwick Airport from Wokingham Station. BUS We have many local buses as well as Reading having direct links to other major cities. BICYCLE Wokingham is bicycle friendly. BREAKFAST Breakfast is included in the price of the room and is served in the dining room overlooking the garden and on sunny days can be served outdoors on the patio, if you wish. Margaret takes pride in providing a home produced breakfast with fresh eggs from our hens, organically produced home grown veg and homemade bread and jams. PARKING Parking is available.
