Spinner's Cottage is a stunning stone built cottage in the quaint Gaeltacht Village of Kilcar in SW Co. Donegal. The Cottage which stands in its own private plots, oozes charm and elegance. It has been meticulously designed and finished to a very high standard. There are breathtaking views form the front door overlooking Kilcar village with Sliabh Liag in the background. Outside has been beautifully landscaped, with furniture to relax and enjoy the magical Donegal sunsets. The Cottage has two spacious double bedrooms and is suitable for up to four guests. There is a large living / dining area with an open fireplace with wood burning stove fire. The cottage is accessed through a private drive, where there is ample off street parking. Guests will be left to enjoy their stay uninterrupted but there will always be someone available nearby to answers questions by phone or e-mail. Cill Charthaigh (Anglicised as Kilcar) is a Gaeltacht village located in the south west of County Donegal. It is a small village with one main street, with a Catholic Church, several shops, four bars and a take away. The village is the main location within Donegal for hand made tweed, with a shop selling tweed products located in the village. Located within close proximity to Sliabh Liag, the highest accessible cliffs in Europe, Kilcar makes a great location to explore the south west of Donegal. Kilcar is located on the coastal road, the R263, on the Wild Atlantic Way between the fishing port of Killybeg's and the village of Carrick. Access is by car, as there is limited public transport serving the local area, due to the remoteness. Please be advised there is flagstone paving leading up the house which are not completely level
