Today they are available for you to experience Slovenian countryside and wine making tradition. Every Zidanica has to have a wine cellar and cottage Stepan is no different. Guests are invited to visit the cellar with the owner and local wine from the cellar is available in the cottage. We greet every guest with a traditional welcome from Bela Krajina region. Visit us in autumn and help us during grape harvest season. We will show you the process of making wine and perhaps you can become a true vineyard cottage master. Vineyard Cottage Stepan is located on quiet and peaceful vineyard hill near Črnomelj in Bela Krajina region. Cottage is surrounded by vineyards and other vineyard cottages with a marvellous view on surrounding vineyard hills. Vineyard Cottages are a perfect staring point for hiking and cycling trips around hills in Bela Krajina region. Spa centres in Dolenjske Toplice, Kolpa river and sightseeing landmarks of Dolenjska and Bela Krajina regions offer plenty of possibilities for an active holiday. Due to the good road connections you can visit other regions of Slovenia or Croatia just accros the border. Pets are also welcome at our cottage (for supplement of 20 EUR/pet/night).
