Delightfully stylish, luxurious, cosy country accommodation in the pretty (recently voted North Notts' Best-Kept) village of Farnsfield situated between Sherwood Forest and the historic Minster town of Southwell. Refurbished to a high standard in 2019/20, this is an ideal base to enjoy the surrounding countryside. There is a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, dishwasher, fridge, kettle, microwave, toaster, kitchenware and a superbly decorated lounge with wall mounted flat screen SMART TV, ALEXA and log effect electric fire. There is a delightful adjoining dining area suitable for 6-8 people. A great deal of attention to detail has been given to each space with little touches following the Bumble Bee Theme as well as references to its previous use as a working barn. In the kids room the ceiling and walls have a starry sky effect with LED lighting behind a panelling affect which gives a magical feel. Outside there is a garden with a spacious decking area. There are two friendly pubs which serve delicious meals at competitive prices and a new Pizzeria which uses a stone oven. There is a Chinese takeaway and also a lovely cafe which serves delicious breakfasts, homemade cakes and hosts Tapas evenings once a month. The hairdressers on main Street becomes a Gin Bar in the evenings at the weekend! There is a beautiful old church and there are often events on at the local Cricket and Tennis clubs as well the Southwell folk festival in the summer. The Southwell Trail is just a stone's throw away and the whole area is very popular with dog walkers and cyclists. Many other sporting and musical events take place at nearby venues in Sherwood Forest, such as Rufford Abbey, Clumber Park and Sherwood Pines.
