Cottage in beautiful natural scenery in Hjo!

The historic wooden town of Hjo is located midway between Malmo and Stockholm if you choose to drive along the beautiful west coast of lake Vattern. Our cottage is located in beautiful farmlands on the outskirts of Hjo. The cottage is from the early 1900s but has been renovated to modern standards. There is a bike path that runs through Hjo River valley which is a fantastic beautiful nature reserve that leads to Hjo center, which takes about 10 minutes with bicycle or 20 min by foot. The cottage is over 100 years old and used to be the residence of the farmhands at Björkestorps farm. Built in the early 1900s but renovated to modern standards. The cottage is divided into one large 2-story apartment in the south and a small 1-story apartment in the north. In the small apartment lives a permanent tenant - this listing is for the 2-story section. We who have the cottage lives in the farm's beautiful brick stable next doors. You will have full access to the south gable of the cottage with its patio and the garden beside the house. Please feel free to explore the Hjo river that runs along the plot next to the cottage and look for trout and signal crayfish hiding among the rocks. Do not be afraid to ask if you would like any help or tips on activities! Rural location just on the outskirts of Hjo city. Adjacent to our property is the small cozy area Grebban, where you will also find Stampen mill restaurant with its unique mill environment. There is a very large car park, you can hold, for example, a mobile home or two cars if you are a larger party. Bicycle path down to Hjo, takes about 10 minutes and runs along the Hjo River valley which is a fantastic beautiful nature reserve. GPS will not show the right location for our cottage, please use AirBnB maps or look at the map in our gallery. No channels on the TV, please bring your own cables to add your computer or tell us in advance so we can help you. We can also help you with a Chromecast. Please let us know if internet are running slow, so we can restart our router. Double bed in bedroom no 2 can be taken apart, please inform us in advance if you wish four single beds instead. New electrical heaters installed in december 2016, so comfortable temp during winter. We expect you to leave the house in good condition and make sure it looks nice when you leave. We charge a cleaning fee as compensation for taking care of cleaning.
