Close to eateries & pubs (150m), it's ideal for couples who like to indulge in fine dining walks from the doorstep The guests have complete access to the entire lodge for their own private use. There is shared parking on the gravelled car park at the top of the private driveway. Guest can enjoy shared access to the pond area with a miniature stream, a summer house with decking and also grassed orchard running up the driveway. There is parking for 1 vehicle on the gravelled carpark and free on road parking. The Lodge is one mile on foot to Shibden Park down the old Shibden Hall Road or a 3 minute drive. Shibden Hall and Park has pay and display parking. Located in the bustling village of Hipperholme, you have an excellent choice of pubs, restaurants, take aways, tea rooms, beauty lounges, hairdressers and a Co-Op and Mini Tesco all within a 5 minute walk. The most local pub is The Travellers Inn which is 150m down the road. Stroll into the village and find Bardolinos which serves fantastic breakfasts, lunch and dinner. Or if you prefer a take out Anisa's is the best Indian Takeaway in the area. There is also a Chinese restaurant, pizza shop, fish and chip shops. If you fancy a longer walk, discover the Award Winning Shibden Mill Inn nestled amongst the Shibden Valley Hills, following the footpaths through Shibden Park and beyond.
