The "Friendly Northern House" is on the same property as my other airbnb cabin, "Friendly Northern Cabin". The "Friendly Northern House" offers a few more amenities than the cabin: dishwasher, washer/dryer, and multiple flat-screen TVs. The only shared space for this listing is the backyard area. The house will have plenty of space and parking for multiple guest groups! Also, this listing is pet friendly! Located in a quiet Deerwood neighborhood, this comfortable cabin includes a spacious backyard with a fire pit. Family time on the lake is easy with a one-block walk to Skone Park, a public beach on Serpent Lake complete with public grills and picnic tables. Looking for outdoor adventure? There are 25+ lakes surrounding Deerwood for fishing and recreation, including Lake Mille Lacs, one of Minnesota’s greatest natural fisheries. The Crosby area is also known for its scenic mountain bike trails—accessible from just four blocks away! The famous Cuyuna Lakes mountain bike trail circles Serpent Lake and goes into Crosby, where many of the connecting trails (and the bike shop Red Raven!) are found. You will be able to access the entire home, minus the personal closest area and the basement; storage of personal items while out of the house. The posted pictures are the accurate depiction of the guest experience. I love to meet new people, and share stories, but I know that it is a "get-away" so I will "stay-away" as much as desired by the guests. Located within walking distance of anything that Deerwood has to offer: public sandy beach, Skone park with grills and picnic tables, Deerwood park, with large playground and canopy, multiple restaurants and bars. walking trails as well! A recent addition to the neighborhood is the paved biking/walking trail from the Deerwood park all the way around Serpent Lake and ending in Crosby, connecting Deerwood to the mountain biking trail system. parking will not be an issue, even with multiple guests groups on-site. no public transportation, but there is a "sober bus" that operates on Fridays and Saturdays. The famous Cuyuna Country mountain bike trails are only 5 mins away by car, or 15 mins away by bike! Along with other activities in the city of Crosby, like the multitude of antique stores, shops, restaurants, city park/public beach, there are also surrounding areas unique to themselves (Brainerd, Crosslake, Emily, etc...)
