PRETTY COUNTRY COTTAGE IN GORGEOUS SURROUNDING+Spa

Welcome everybody! Would you like to relax from the stress of daily life? Come and go for walks, have peace and quiet, use the garden barbecue, have private sauna sessions in the beautiful Uckermark landscape. There`s lots of space in my 140 sm cottage which is idyllically located hidden behind the church, surrounded by my flowering garden bordered by lilac. Rarely, a car drives along. You could go directly along herbaceous meadows to the romantic bathing lake with water lilies ... An idyllic location surrounded by lilac grove, the property is set back from the main street, behind the church, in a small copper stone way. A cottage garden with organically grown vegetables and flowers. A meadow with peaches, quinces, plums, pears. Late raspberries and grapes in autumn. Heavenly. On the edge of the pretty cottage garden, you´ll find this thoughtfully restored, equipped and decorated former farmhouse. Ground floor: small bathroom (shower), well equipped kitchen, bedchamber with 1.20 m double bed, bedroom with 1.60double bed, dining room, library with 1.20 sofa bed . Outside in front of the kitchen door there is an open porch with adjoining wooden terrace. Up to 12 adults can sleep in 6 beds. Each of the three rooms in the ground floor has a double bed, or a sofa bed. The former attic was changed into a loft some years ago, which counts about 60 squaremeters plus a high floor which is used as a doublebed. A bed for 2 persons is hidden underneath and behind a wardrobe. In the south wing there are 2 more sleeping possibilities: a 1,40 sofa bed for another couple(topping provided to make a perfect sleep). Centered in the roof there is the wood-burning stove. (+ central heating provided). You could go directly along herbaceous meadows to the romantic bathing lake with water lilies, or through the local forest to the mystical Celts graves : there are a lot of goals. 20 steps away there is our 35 centuries-old church, then within 20 minutes you can reach the old wooden church in Menkin, with it´s restaured Grüneberg organ! There are castles, manor houses, some are still slepping in the seemingly sleepy sleepy sleep of Sleeping Beauty... Nearby you can go hiking, cycling, walking, paddling, horseriding, or you go swimming in one of the beautiful lakes. May be you decide to go a little further (ca. 35 km) to the Haff with the fresh ocean breeze of the Baltic Sea and original beach baskets of the Baltic Sea (in Uckermünde). I highly recommend a visit to the Polish side. The City of Stettin is only 13 km away and its museums, theatres, concerts are as interesting as its harbour, castle, old citizen houses. There are some bargains to make in Poland: alcohol, tobacco, petrol as well as basquetware, outdoor fashion, jewelery and more. The polish baltic sea is more busy as the German,- if you want to compare both sides you cold go by ferry to the island of Usedom, which is half German and Polish. No matter where,- on the polish or on the german side you´ll find pure, original and largely intact nature with lots of animals and plants and you can quickly find sights that can leave lasting impressions. For further information please feel free to ask. You are invited to relax in the garden, to use the garden furniture, the barbecue. Find some vegetable or fruit in the garden and please serve yourselve of the homemade jam you`ll find in the kitchen. Please let me know if you want to use the Sauna in the Garden. This would cost an extra fee (electricity and water) dependeng on how long you`ll use it. Same with the "Theatre" which is situated in the old stable. A great place for celebrating parties, apart but next to the cosy cottage. Both Sauna and Stable would cost about 17.- Euro each + the spended electricity and water. * Arrival: 16:00 - 19:00 and departure: 10:30, or by prior arrangement. * The house is inhabited. * Books like to read, but let there! * Please handle all things with care! If damage has occurred, please contact me, and replace the losses. * do not tear the plants in the garden. Please let them grow! * Tents and camp is only by prior arrangement and an additional charge possible. The village is tiny but perfectly formed ! A tiny theater opened 3 years ago in the barn next door and is opened on the last weekend of the month from April to August. Mobile shops are selling food in the village. Supermarket, Bakeries and butchers,restaurants, pharmacies and doctors in Löcknitz (5km) and in Brüssow (4 km). The next hospital is in Pasewalk. The village Wallmow with its alternative school is located about 15 km away. Schloss Bröllin in Fahrenwalde, Kunsthaus Grimme in Grimme can be reached by bicycle. in the village: bus to Löcknitz and Brüssow. Brüssow: Busses to Prenzlau and Löcknitz Prenzlau: DB trains to Berlin (all directions) and to the north + Busses Löcknitz: busses and DB trains to the north and to Stettin Please note: The loft is one big room with privat corners and 2 double beds and 1 good sleeping sofa bed. If wished I provide you with a baby bed, a child´s mattress (up to 4 years), or another two 0,80X 2,00 m mattresses. One of the bedrooms in the ground floor can be seperated by a curtain! The library (passage room) in the ground floor can be used as bedroom as well (sofabed with topper to guarantie a good bed for a good sleep). There is one bathroom with one loo and a shower tube. Another loo is in the garden. There is a garden shower. Have fun and feel great!
