Romantic Watermill with private river à Bourdeilles (Brantôme)

Boat shapped Medieval watermill in a private location by the river. All on the first floor level. Large living room with magnificient fireplace and woodburner. Confortable sofa and chairs giving cosy ambiance. Amazing views of the river from the many windows. Dining area with large French type farm table and chairs by the point of the boat shapped room with microwave, oven, large fridge freezer, coffee machine , kettle. Large bedroom with kingsize bed, armoire, drawers, window facing the river. Bathroom with large shower, double basins and toilet. Washing machine, window facing the river and one the property entrance. Linen provided for the bed, kitchen and bathroom towels. Outside Large parking area, garden, river terrace, island, private river and main river. Canoe, paddles and life jackets. Bring your fishing rod. Two bikes avalaible. Garden furniture. Water, electric, gas, and wood (for the winter) included. BBQ. Free WiFi. The views from the large windows are amazing. The river below, so crystal clear that fishes can be watched. Also water hens, kingfishers, heron, ducks and deer too at times. It is so peacefull yet just a short drive to the civilisation ! This property was given to me by my Grandfather, Jacques, but at the time it was pratically a ruin. I had always loved the setting and knew I could lovingly restore it. Restauration completed 9 years ago when I then started to let it with great success. It is idyllic, tranquil and so beautiful. Even sounds wonderful…with the music of the water flow. The Moulin is totally for the private use of the guests. After a short break from the rental market, the property is once again available for guests to enjoy! French / English speaking owner.
