On the Oxfordshire side of the Cotswolds, our luxury village home rests on the market square of the ancient village of Deddington, famed for its charming stone cottages. Will sleep 4 adults and 2 children (full size double sofa bed). With modern amenities and tasteful fixtures and fittings. The location enables our guests to stay in Oxfordshire but also visit the Cotswolds, Blenheim Palace, and Silverstone. The cottage is packed with sought-after amenities. It’s home from home. The village has 5 pubs and a farm shop. Our home has everything you would want from a welcoming, traditional Cotswold cottage. In 2019 we completely rebuilt the interior leaving all the heritage intact but bringing the structure and furniture up to luxury, modern specifications. The cottage now has oak beams, woodburning fire and modern-day bathrooms. We’ve gone for contemporary mixed with tradition. Remote key safe access gives our guests complete flexibility and we leave fresh bread, milk and a pantry with a plentiful supply of everything you might need. Plus a well stocked herb garden. The whole cottage will be yours. Access is through a key safe to give you full flexibility on timing. Holly Cottage will be entirely yours. This is our home, but it will be fully prepared to be your home for your stay, even the fridge and freezer are emptied for your use; somewhere to store the fabulous fresh foods you buy at the farm shop in the village. We will be on hand to help with any problems or offer advice. The village is steeped in history all the way back to Saxon times. There are castle remains, a church dating back to 1254, the Oxford Canal, library and long established families. Deddington is a highly desirable place to live and provides up market homes for 2 Formula One teams based in the area. Regular bus services take you to Oxford or Banbury. In Bicester you can catch a train every 30 minutes that will whisk into central London in 47 minutes. The village has ample, unrestricted free car parking.
