Lux Living apartment Budič is situated on the door step of Terme Čatež, the biggest thermal riviera in Slovenia! It can accommodate five adults in the apartment and three adult guests in studio and is beautifully furnished to perfection! Apartment features three bedrooms with two king sized beds and one single, a private kitchen with all the utensils that you'd need on a vacation and a private bathroom and studio features king size bed with an extra bed, dining table, kitchen with all the utensils and private bathroom. Both apartments have a lovely terrace, where you can enjoy your coffee or wine with family or friends. When coming to Brežice from the direction of Ljubljana–Zagreb motorway, from the direction of Terme Čatež or from elsewhere, from the south to the north of Brežice, you cannot miss the greatest beauty of Brežice, the confluence of the Krka and Sava Rivers. An idyllic view of the confluence opens from the bridge connecting the village of Čatež na Savi and Brežice. The popular spot, the so-called “Špica”, attracts nature lovers and photographs as well as every random visitor of Brežice. During summer months, the green surroundings of Brežice, especially the beautiful banks of the rivers Krka, Sava and Sotla, are very lovely. Canoeing, wakeboarding and stand up paddling on the the Krka River belong to the most popular activities during the summer heat, but you can also simply relax or take a swim. Repnice are one of the features that certainly will not leave you indifferent. We are talking about caves dug into quartz sand, which were used for storing turnips, the main forage for livestock, over the winter. Turnip is called »repa« in Slovene, hence the name. After abandoning these storing methods, the repnice become one of the monuments of past times, while many winemakers converted them into a space for storing and tasting their excellent wines. This provides an opportunity for a truly unique experience by visiting up to 200-year-old repnice in the villages of Brezovica, Bizeljsko, Pišece and Globoko. Some of them are decorated with remarkably interesting mouldings on the ceilings or walls. They are characterized by an ideal temperature and humidity, which are necessary for the storage and maturation of wines. The castle Brežice- It is supposed that the castle was built in the 12th century on a small slope on the left bank of the Sava River, separating Styria and Carniola. It was built by the Salzburg people in order to serve administrative and defence purposes. The town of Brežice, which was established in its neighbourhood, got city rights approved by a document in 1353. The local bus station is just 200 metres away and the main train station is 3 kilometres from our property. You can also rent bicycles in Terme Čatež, which are a kilometre away.
