No.5 Bignold Court

Traditional decor in this renovated house which was once part of the Bignold Hospital Downstairs you will find a corridor with a kitchen and large living room with dining area The kitchen is fully equipped so you can make your own meals. I have a washing machine in the kitchen also and detergent The living room had a dining table and my own piano Upstairs you will find two generous bedrooms. One with built in wardrobes The bathroom also upstairs benefitting from a large bath You will have use of the whole house. The kitchen is fully equipped. The house is a short 5 minute walk from Tesco and a ten minute walk from the town centre where you will find cafes, shops and restaurants. There is a folder with menus for local cafes and restaurants You will also find this on my guide on the app You have access to the entire property there is a shared vestibule which is shared with other holiday makers I will have the keys in a lockbox but I am also available to check guests in. No.5 is situated in the original Northcote House which was gifted to the town by Mr Bignold M.P, in 1902 it was converted into Bignold Hospital there an extra wing was added. It closed in 1986 and converted into the houses and flats you see today. Being on the outskirts of the town it is relatively quiet with the back of the house overlooking trees and fields, however, because it is just a 5 minute walk from Tesco you will hear traffic at the front of the house but this is not excessive by any stretch. From the house, you can walk down to the Main Street, there you will find cafes, takeaways, restaurants and bars. We also have a beautiful area at the river where you can walk and go to the park. If there is any other information you would like to see like local things to do that might not be on trip advisor please just ask and I will be happy to gather information for you Parking at the house is free and there is a lot of it! A bus stop is situated right outside the house and also at the local Tesco. There is a train station on the other side of town too Ironing board, clothes horse and iron live in a wardrobe in the big bedroom. All cleaning products are kept in the kitchen. A can of dettol is kept on the kitchen counter if you wish to disinfect any touch points when you arrive. This will be done by me before your arrival. I have air freshener in the kitchen, if you suffer from allergies to this please just let me know and I can remove it before you arrive. Each bedroom has a tv which is ready for any streaming service you use. Just log in and enjoy! These are not plugged in for freeview unfortunately. Each bedroom has a hair dryer.
