Self catered, cereal (including my own home made Gluten free museli) and toast breakfast is provided, which can be enjoyed sitting at the dinning table. Plus a kettle and toaster, tea and coffee and a small fridge for any extra supplies you may bring. A small sitting area and a large leather topped desk, complete the cosy feel of this unique property. Situated in the center of this beautiful Hampshire village - voted the best village in Britain (Sunday times 2013) it is so convenient, yet quiet and secluded. All village amenities are on the doorstep - shop, butcher (voted best in Hampshire (2015) and outstanding 'gastro pub' The Thomas Lord, plus nearby Cappachino cafe for coffee/lunch/dinner, all with in a very short walk. Easy and quick access to the main motor ways to visit Winchester, Chichester, Portsmouth, The Isle of Wight and Trains to London. Book your tickets to Chichester Festival Theater, Goodwood Racing and Motor Racing Revival Festival, Grange Festival Opera, The Watercress Line and Portsmouth's Historic Dockyard. Situated in The south Downs National Park, the local walks are wonderful with stunning views and flora and fauna. We look forward to welcoming our guests on arrival and helping them in any way they wish. We respect the privacy of our guests but are always at the end of a phone, if needed. We have lived in many parts of the world and traveled widely. However, we love this special part of Hampshire. The glorious south facing aspect of this property, the central, yet secluded position makes this property a gem in the village's crown! A regular bus service connects us to Petersfield in the East and Winchester in the West. A regular and frequent high-speed train service from Petersfield to London is only 15 minutes away, making this a perfect location to be based from which to visit Hampshire and the south of England. Private off street parking is provided for one car. Tennis courts in the village, golf nearby, the sandy beaches of West Wittering, a ferry to the Isle of Wight, all can be accessed in about 30 minutes. Fishing, clay pigeon shooting at nearby Meon Springs, plus walking and cycling the South Downs way too. There are numerous good pubs in the area, and many fine dining restaurants too in nearby Winchester. Something for everyone and in particular those who wish to simply 'get away from it all' and unwind.
