The town of Porthmadog is the gateway to the outstandingly beautiful Llyn Peninsular and, apart from the famous and beautiful Black Rock Sands which are a five minute drive away, amenities also include various shops and restaurants and the famous Welsh Highland Railway and Ffestiniog railways for trips into Snowdonia. Mount Snowdon itself is also easily reached with its famous mountain railway a must to enjoy. The surrounding area is perfect for walking (with the North Wales Coastal footpath on the doorstep), rock climbing and is a 5 mile drive into the beautiful village of Bedgelert which also has further outstanding walks. Parking on the road outside the property is available with nearby parking in the village square.
