Thurston station is about a 30 minute walk ( for adults and older children but possibly a bit daunting for younger children) from Hedgerow Barn with a bit of road work and then footpaths across the fields ( we can give directions on request) and there is no taxi rank at the station. If you let us know what time you are arriving we will be happy to pick you up if we can though it is unfortunately not legal for us to offer lifts to infants and small children requiring car seats so you will need to book a taxi if that applies, let us know if you would like us to book one for you. There are free range chickens on site, but for guests (or their dogs) who would prefer not to interact with them, we can keep them confined in their stable.
