The village lies 3 miles from the market town of Bishop Auckland and is in a great location for guests wanting to explore County Durham and the surrounding areas. The ground floor has a well-presented sitting room with Tv, dvd player and selection of DVD a selection of family games puzzle and reading books maps and visitor attraction information. The kitchen is well equipped table and chairs with double range cooker, microwave, slow cooker, fridge freezer and washing machine and tumble dryer with a door leading to the outside seating area. Artificial grass and potted plants a real sun trap. With bike storage and an outside tap. Stairs in the sitting room lead to two bedrooms, one double with en suite shower and one twin with full size single beds which is located next door to the main bathroom so can be used as an en suite -the bathroom has a shower over short bath. This bus stop is opposite the Joiners Arms. In Bishop Auckland there is a railway station Trains go to Darlington then connecting trains to mainline destinations. Bishop Auckland is about 5 mins away by car.
