Renovated 3 bed house, private road Hertford

Recently renovated Victorian semi cottage on peaceful private road. Ideal for families: 2 upstairs bedrooms sleeping 2 people in each, whilst mid level kids room has two Childrens single beds. Theres woods at the end of the street and great country walks 5 mins away, yet only 10 mins from the centre of Hertford - a bustling market town with great shops, bars restaurants. We are between two Hertford train stations, which both take you into Central London in around 45 minutes. We have renovated our Victorian semi adding a spacious open plan basement kitchen, which includes a 6 hob gas range cooker, full height fridge and freezer, washer, dishwasher and bi fold doors. The kitchen table sits 6. We have kids high chairs available. We love to cook so there is everything you would need available for your use, please just be careful with breakables and don’t leave us the washing up! The door out to the garden has a built in dog flap for the convenience of our 4 legged friends. We are happy to have well behaved house trained dogs to stay. There are also great walks on our doorstep perfect for dogs or just enjoying the countryside. You might even be lucky and spot a Hertford deer and our resident Redkites. The back garden is fully enclosed and perfect for bbqs and we have lots of comfortable garden furniture for sunny days. We have a small pond so look out for frogs and there’s outdoor toys for children. The main bedroom has a king sized bed, double fitted wardrodes and a large chest of drawers. Off the main bedroom is an en-suite with walk-in shower. The family bathroom has a full sized bath with built-in shower. Kids steps/potties and are available on request. The second bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is a small desk and chair in this room for at home working. The mid level kids room has two single kids bed (not recommended for adults) change station and storage. We will also happily leave a travel cot out for your use if required. Please just send us a message. The living-room has a large 3 seater sofa. TV, DVD player and digital TV. We also have wifi throughout the house. The house comes with separate off street parking with space to fit 2 cars. Should you stay with us and bring kids and/or dog we are happy to recommend a local babysitter and dog walker. Entire house We will be around if you need us or if away ourselves shall have close family member available to come by if needed. Hertford centre is a 10 minute walk from the house. The town has many eateries, shops, pubs, clubs, market, childrens playgrounds, theatre, swimming pool, library, gyms, supermarkets, tennis courts, skate parks and beautiful riverside and canal walks. We have separate off street parking which has space for two cars. There is a bus stop 50m down the road also near to a corner shop, post office, curry house and pub. Hertford East and Hertford North train stations are within 20 minutes walk both taking you into central London. We are close to the M1, A1, M11 and A10. Please let us know in advance if you would like bikes and extra baby items left available for your use. We live on a very friendly quiet private road so please do say Hi to the people on the street. Please also respect our adjoining neighbours and peaceful surroundings by keeping noise levels down.
