The Monte da Saúde is located 15 minutes walk from the village and sleeps up to 8 people in comfort allowing you to enjoy the tranquility of the countryside combining it with the proximity of an active and historic village. The Monte da Saúde (House of Health) is situated high on a hill and the house received its name due to the good air circulating here, that was sought by patients with pneumonia or other respiratory diseases. On the top of the hill where the house is located, your eyes will reach Spain and the entire local environment. Browns, greens and yellows give color to this extraordinary landscape. And the scents of orange sweeten the air with a unique scent. This hill belongs to the same family for decades and was all refurnished to welcom you with open arms, warm smile and all the aminities that you need. It has one double bedroom, one single bedroom, dining room, living room with traditional fireplace, large kitchen, full bathroom, terrace and BBQ. Located in the historic Vila Viçosa, in the heart of Alto Alentejo, this house has everything you need to make you love the calm and forget the rush of day-to-day. At a distance of no more than 5 minutes walk, you can find Capuchos Convent and its square, which hosts the September village feasts. If you like walking then the 15 minutes to the main square, past the castle, will only awaken your senses. The palace, once home to kings, princes and princesses diserve a closer look.
