Situated on the official Iron Man Triathlon route, the peaceful seaside village of Seaview boasts a well stocked supermarket & liquor store, pharmacy and Hardware shop as well as the local pub/eatery and the Barnacles restaurant, renowned for its seafood. An easy 20 minute drive to the city for shopping malls, business, medical treatment etc. A short drive to the N2 for easy access to Baywest Shopping mall, the Garden Route, Addo Elephant Park, etc. There is very limited bus and taxi availability so a car is highly recommended. The area is ideal for cycling and running if you are a fitness fiend! The shoreline at Seaview is predominantly rocky but tidal pools are great for a dip. The nearby Kini Bay beach offers a spectacular walk along the coast to Sardinia Bay. Other beautiful beaches include Beachview, Maitlands, Van Stadens Resort as well as the Port Elizabeth beachfront where you can find Kings Beach, Humewood, Hobie and Pollock beaches - all an easy drive away. Most of the city beaches have lifeguards on duty during the season. This is a self catering unit and linen is supplied but washing and cleaning is not included. Towels are supplied for the bathrooms - please bring your own swimming towels if you need. There is a washing machine and washing line for your convenience. A portable braai is available for your use and wood and charcoal can be bought from the local grocery store. A certain amount of electricity is supplied but longer stay guests, or excessive usage, will need to top up extra electricity available from the local Spar supermarket.
