Leyburn is the nearest traditional cobbled market town, just 2 miles away, larger than Middleham, this also offers plenty of amenities including shops, pubs, a tea-pottery, a chocolate maker, cafes, banks, takeaways and restaurants, many craft workshops, a library, auction house & yard, a garden centre and the famous 'Wensleydale Railway' (Leyburn Station).
